Your choices

Access, correction, deletion, objection, portability, consent withdrawal and optional-cookie controls where applicable.

Who receives it

Privacy Policy

This notice is written to be reusable across Covered Services while remaining specific about the data practices that may apply.

Scope and who is responsible

This Privacy Policy applies to the website, page, application, campaign, form, bot, communication channel or other digital service from which it is linked (each a “Covered Service”), including the service identified as Il Quotidiano 24 Digital Services. It covers services associated with ilquotidiano24.live unless a separate policy is displayed.

Unless a service-specific notice says otherwise, Il Quotidiano 24, as the operator of ilquotidiano24.live, determines why and how Personal Data is processed through the Covered Service and acts as the data controller or business. Our privacy contact is our.privacy@ilquotidiano24.live.

Controller and processor roles If a Covered Service processes data solely on behalf of a business customer, that customer may be the controller and Il Quotidiano 24 may act as its processor or service provider. In that situation, the customer's privacy notice governs its decisions and we assist it with valid privacy requests.

A service-specific notice, consent screen or just-in-time disclosure may add details for a particular feature. If it conflicts with this general policy, the more specific notice controls for that feature.

Personal Data we may collect

“Personal Data” means information that identifies, relates to, describes or can reasonably be linked to an individual. The categories collected depend on the Covered Service you use and the choices you make.

Information you provide

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, telephone number, messaging identifier, country, company or professional role.
  • Account data: username, account identifier, encrypted or hashed credentials and account preferences, where an account feature exists.
  • Communications: messages, support requests, form submissions, survey responses, feedback and attachments you choose to send.
  • Transaction data: order reference, service selected, billing status and limited billing details. Payment card data may be collected directly by a payment provider rather than by us.
  • Campaign or lead data: information submitted through a landing page, lead form, social-media form or appointment request.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: Internet Protocol address, browser type, operating system, device type, language, time zone and basic network information.
  • Usage data: pages or screens viewed, timestamps, referring URL, navigation path, clicks, error events and session duration.
  • Security data: authentication events, abuse signals, fraud indicators and diagnostic logs.
  • Cookie and device identifiers: consent preference, session identifiers and, only where permitted, analytics or advertising identifiers.
  • Approximate location: general city, region or country inferred from an IP address. We do not seek precise GPS location unless a feature clearly requests it.

Sensitive data

Covered Services are not designed to request sensitive Personal Data such as health information, government identifiers, biometric templates, religious beliefs or financial-account credentials unless a specific feature clearly explains why it is needed and establishes an appropriate legal basis. Please do not send sensitive data through general contact forms.

Where Personal Data comes from

We may obtain Personal Data from:

  • you, when you browse a Covered Service, submit a form, create an account, contact us or purchase a service;
  • your device or browser through logs, cookies, local storage and similar technologies;
  • social networks, advertising platforms or messaging services when you interact with our pages, ads, lead forms or accounts;
  • business customers or partners that instruct us to provide a service, where they have authority to share the data;
  • service providers that support hosting, security, communications, customer relationship management, payments, analytics or fraud prevention; and
  • publicly available sources when permitted by law.

If you provide Personal Data about another person, you should have authority to do so and provide them with any notice required by law.

How and why we use Personal Data

We may process Personal Data to:

  • operate, maintain and deliver the Covered Service;
  • process requests, registrations, orders, appointments or transactions;
  • respond to questions and provide customer support;
  • authenticate users and manage accounts where accounts are offered;
  • send service messages, confirmations and security notices;
  • send marketing communications where consent or another lawful basis permits, with an unsubscribe option;
  • understand performance, diagnose errors and improve usability;
  • measure campaigns and conversions where permitted;
  • protect users, systems and services from fraud, spam, abuse and security threats;
  • enforce terms, establish or defend legal claims and resolve disputes; and
  • comply with law, lawful requests and regulatory obligations.

We do not use Personal Data for a materially different purpose without providing additional notice and, where required, obtaining consent.

Cookies, local storage and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and software-development kits. The technologies present on a Covered Service depend on its features.

CategoryPurposeDefault status
Strictly necessarySecurity, network delivery, session continuity and remembering your privacy choices.Always active where required for the service.
AnalyticsUnderstand visits, performance and errors in aggregated or pseudonymous form.Off until enabled where consent is required.
AdvertisingMeasure campaigns, limit repetition and, where separately allowed, personalize advertising.Off until enabled where consent is required.
PersonalizationRemember optional settings and adapt content to your choices.Off until enabled where consent is required.

This standalone Privacy Center stores your consent choice in local storage. It does not intentionally load analytics or advertising trackers by itself. Other Covered Services should connect their optional scripts to the choices offered here.

You can accept, reject or adjust non-essential categories at any time by selecting . Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Advertising, social platforms and measurement

Some Covered Services may use tools supplied by advertising, analytics or social-media platforms to understand campaign performance, attribute conversions, prevent fraud or display advertising. Depending on the integration and your choices, those tools may process:

  • cookie or device identifiers, IP address and browser information;
  • the page viewed, campaign parameters, ad interactions and conversion events;
  • pseudonymous or hashed contact information submitted for measurement or matching, where disclosed and permitted; and
  • information the platform already holds under its own terms and privacy policy.

Where required by law, optional advertising storage and personalized advertising are disabled until valid consent is received. You may reject advertising technologies without losing access to the basic Privacy Center.

When a platform independently determines how it uses data, it acts under its own privacy policy. Examples may include Meta, Google, TikTok or another provider identified in the relevant Covered Service.

Global Privacy Control If your browser sends a recognized Global Privacy Control signal, this page treats it as an opt-out of optional advertising and cross-context behavioral advertising for this browser. Covered Services must ensure their own integrations honor applicable signals.

How we disclose Personal Data

We may disclose Personal Data only as appropriate for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Authorized personnel who need access to perform their responsibilities and are subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Service providers and processors supporting hosting, content delivery, customer support, communications, CRM, payments, analytics, advertising measurement, security, legal or accounting functions.
  • Business customers when we process a request or lead on their behalf and the Covered Service identifies that customer.
  • Authorities and professional advisers where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security.
  • Transaction participants in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.
  • Other recipients at your direction or with your consent.

Il Quotidiano 24 does not sell Personal Data for monetary payment. If any disclosure constitutes “sale,” “sharing” or targeted advertising under an applicable privacy law, we will provide the legally required notice and opt-out mechanism.

Providers are expected to process data only for authorized purposes, apply appropriate security and comply with applicable data-protection obligations.

International data transfers

Covered Services and their providers may process Personal Data in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy laws in those countries may differ.

Where European data-protection law applies and data is transferred outside the EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland, we use an available lawful mechanism such as an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses, a recognized certification framework or another permitted safeguard. You may contact us for information about the mechanism relevant to your data, subject to lawful confidentiality restrictions.

Data retention and deletion

We keep Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including providing a service, maintaining security, meeting legal obligations and resolving disputes. Retention depends on the data and context:

  • contact and support records are kept while a request is active and for a reasonable period afterward;
  • account data is kept while the account is active and then deleted or anonymized after closure, subject to legal needs;
  • marketing contact data is kept until consent is withdrawn, you unsubscribe or the data is no longer reasonably needed;
  • security and server logs are generally retained for a limited period appropriate to investigating incidents;
  • transaction, tax and accounting records are kept for the period required by applicable law; and
  • backup copies may remain for a limited cycle before secure overwrite, isolated from ordinary use.

When retention is no longer justified, data is deleted, de-identified or anonymized. A valid deletion request will be completed within the timeframe required by law, subject to permitted exceptions such as legal recordkeeping, fraud prevention or the establishment of legal claims.

Account deletion

If a Covered Service offers account creation, you may request deletion of the account and associated Personal Data by emailing our.privacy@ilquotidiano24.live with the subject “Account deletion request”. Include the service name and the email or identifier associated with the account. We may need to verify the request before deleting data.

How we protect Personal Data

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access or disclosure. Depending on the risk and service, safeguards may include:

  • encrypted HTTPS transport and secure hosting configurations;
  • access controls, role separation and least-privilege practices;
  • authentication, logging, monitoring and abuse prevention;
  • provider due diligence and contractual data-protection terms;
  • software updates, backups and incident-response procedures; and
  • data minimization and limited retention.

No online system is completely risk-free. You should use unique credentials, protect your devices and avoid sending sensitive information through unencrypted or general-purpose communication channels.

If we become aware of a Personal Data breach requiring notification, we will notify affected individuals and authorities as required by applicable law.

If you are in Italy, you may also contact the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. Individuals elsewhere may contact their local supervisory authority.

United States state privacy disclosures

Residents of California and other U.S. states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to know, access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of Personal Data, and to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or certain profiling.

For the previous 12 months, the categories of data we may have collected and disclosed for business purposes correspond to those described in Sections 2 and 8: identifiers and contact information; internet or network activity; commercial or transaction information; approximate geolocation; professional information; communications; and inferences based on service activity. Whether a category was actually processed depends on the Covered Service and your interaction.

We do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Data of consumers under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising applicable rights. Where required, you may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision and stating “Privacy request appeal.”

To opt out of optional advertising technologies on this browser, use . Recognized Global Privacy Control signals are treated as an opt-out where required.

Children's privacy

Covered Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 16 unless a specific service clearly says otherwise and provides the required safeguards and parental information.

We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child provided Personal Data without appropriate authorization, contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

Automated decision-making and AI-assisted features

Covered Services may use automation to route messages, detect spam or fraud, prioritize support, personalize non-sensitive content or assist staff. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects unless the specific service clearly discloses the logic, significance, safeguards and rights required by law.

When AI-assisted tools help draft, classify or summarize communications, access should be limited to the information necessary for that purpose and subject to the relevant provider and security controls. You may contact us if you have questions about automation used by a Covered Service.

Third-party links, platforms and services

A Covered Service may link to or operate through third-party websites, social networks, messaging platforms, payment services, embedded media or other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies when they independently determine the processing.

We encourage you to review the privacy notice and settings of each third party. A link does not mean that we control the third party's security, content or data practices.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in services, technology, law or data practices. The “Effective” date and version at the top show when this policy was last materially updated.

When a change materially affects your rights or the way Personal Data is used, we will provide additional notice where required—for example through the relevant Covered Service, by email or through a prominent notice—and seek consent if required.

Earlier versions may be requested through the privacy contact, subject to reasonable availability.
